Prof André Sobczak is the Principal Investigator for Fairwork France. André combines the disciplines of law and management in his international research on corporate social responsibility, in particular on working conditions in global supply chains. He has explored the potential of voluntary commitments and the need for legally binding regulations. He actively engages employers, trade unions, works councils, NGOs, and policymakers in his projects in order to increase the impact of his research.

For the Fairwork project, André leads the relationship-building with key project stakeholders in France (platforms, trade unions, policy makers, media), recruiting students to conduct interviews, conducting interviews, data analysis, and report writing.
