Hussein Cheaito is Development Economist at The Policy Initiative and Researcher for Fairwork Lebanon. Hussein’s research spans diverse subjects including development economics, local economic development policy, the economics of remittances, aid, and welfare, public economics, and fiscal decentralization. As a growing economist, Hussein seeks to introduce a heterodox economic agenda through a queer/feminist lens.
