Jelena Ostojić

Jelena Ostojić is a researcher for the Fairwork Project in Croatia. Jelena is involved in data collection and data analysis.

Jelena is a University Assistant and PhD candidate at the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. Her research focuses on precarious work and the platform economy, which is also the subject of her PhD dissertation. She has participated in several national and international research projects, focusing on the political engagement of young people, working conditions in non-standard employment, and the platform economy. She is a member of the Croatian research team for the European Social Survey (ESS ERIC). She is particularly interested in researching insecurity and inequality in the field of work, industrial relations, and workers’ mobilization and organizing.
