Investigator

Mar Maira-Vidal is an Investigator with the Fairwork Spain team.

She holds a PhD in Sociology and is a Senior Researcher and Lecturer at the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain). She is a member of the Complutense Research Institute of Sociology of the Study on Contemporary Social Transformations (TRANSOC) and also of two research groups of the Complutense University of Madrid: EGECO (Employment, Gender & Social Cohesion) and GRESCO (Contemporary Sociocultural Studies). Moreover, she is currently the Deputy Director of the Spanish Scientific Journal Cuadernos de Relaciones Laborales (Spanish Journal of Industrial Relations).

She has solo-authored several scientific articles on Corporate Social Responsibility of the Spanish Multinationals and also on Occupational Gender Segregation and Discrimination at the Spanish and European workplaces. The articles have been published in different European and Spanish Scientific Journals.
