Shilpa Joseph

Shilpa Mariam Joseph is a Research Assistant with the Fairwork Team at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford.

She holds a Master’s in Media and Communication from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where her dissertation examined intermediary liability as a tool for platform governance. She also holds a BA (Hons) in History from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. Previously, she worked at the Internet Freedom Foundation, a digital rights non profit in India, focusing on advocacy, community engagement, and fundraising.
