Yannik Mieruch is a PhD candidate at the School of Global Studies, Thammasat University. His work critically examines international development and evolving labour relations, with a particular focus on the impact of digital technology. His primary research focus is on Thailand’s platform economy, and he has co-authored several articles exploring platform delivery workers’ identities and community practices. He also has expertise in connectivity for sustainable development, digital skills assessment, and the social impact of internet usage, having participated in multiple regional studies in this area.
