Antonio Ramírez
Investigator
Antonio Ramírez is an Investigator for Fairwork Spain. He is a member of the research and analysis team, conducting interviews in the city of Madrid.
Antonio holds a PhD in Sociology and is an Assistant Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid. Before becoming a lecturer there, he worked as a lecturer at the University of Murcia and, in addition, he has worked in social organisations with refugees. Antonio obtained a scholarship for the development of research personnel, financed by the Spanish Ministry of Science, which allowed him to train as a researcher and to carry out research stays at the universities of Lille and Paris. His thesis was distinguished with an extraordinary doctorate prize. He has participated in many conferences and seminars and as a researcher in several international and national projects, especially linked to the world of agricultural work, labour migration and work in the logistics sector.
