Hayford is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Business, Dominion University College, Ghana, and PhD student at Durban University of Technology, Durban, South Africa.

His publications include academic articles in peer reviewed journals such as Journal of Bank Marketing, Journal Retailing and Consumer Services, International Journal of Educational Management, Journal of Creative Communication, Management Science Letters, and International Journal of Contemporary Management.

His research interests include social media, SMEs, marketing, technology adoption, strategy, innovation behaviour, entrepreneurship, customer loyalty and satisfaction, bibliometrics and branding.

For Fairwork Morocco, Amegbo is involved in platform selection, interviewing platform workers, stakeholder engagement and managing communications.
