Maja Kovac is a co-investigator for Fairwork Serbia.

Maja is a social scientist working in the fields of labour markets and social capital. Her interests focus on re-examining the concepts of social and human capital in a variety of contextual environments, with emphasis on semi-periphery countries, and their linkages with labour, education, and future skills.

Maja has worked with numerous research organisations, international organisations, and civil society organisations as researcher, consultant, and programme manager.

For the Fairowork project, she is involved in interviewing platforms executives and other stakeholders, analysing the evidence and ranking platforms.
