Sharon Geeling

Sharon Geeling is a Research Fellow at CITANDA in the Department of Information Systems of the University of Cape Town.

Sharon is an information systems specialist and was a project manager in commercial organizations until 2015. She holds a PhD in Information Systems (UCT, 2019). Her research interest is in social phenomena and information systems, particularly cultural influences and ethical dilemmas raised by the use of technologies in society. At Fairwork, Sharon is in charge of gathering evidence and producing the Fairwork platform assessment report for South Africa.
