Principal Investigator

Moisés K. Rojas Ramos is the co-Principal Investigator for Fairwork Peru. He participates in the methodological design, data analysis and dissemination of results. He contributes to the process of drafting and qualifying the reports of platform companies.

Moises is a professor at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) and is currently studying for a master’s degree in Social and Political Thought at the University of Leeds (UK).

He studied Sociology at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM) and a master’s degree in Comparative Politics at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru (PUCP). He was a Grad Council Member of the Latin American Studies Association (LASA) in the Labour Studies Section and co-coordinator of the Working Group and Productive Restructuring of the Latin American Sociological Association (ALAS). He is a member of the Institute of Andean Political Studies (IEPA) and director of research projects in Consensos y Estudios Sociales. His research topics are labour informality, political behaviour, and interactive media.

His recent publications include:
