Raktima Kalita
Research Associate
Raktima Kalita is a Research Associate with the Fairwork Project in India. She is involved in data collection in Delhi and analysing primary data.
She completed her M.Phil in Development and Planning from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and her Master’s in Development and Labour Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Her research interests include labour studies, informal economy, processes of industrialisation and urbanisation, energy extraction, and ecological change. She hopes to work further on the relationships between the informal economy and ecological change.
