Tariq Ahmed
Principal Investigator
Tariq Ahmed is one of the Principal Investigators for Fairwork Morocco.
He is also an Assistant Professor, of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Rabat Business School (RBS) – International University of Rabat, Morocco.
Ahmed previously served as an Associate Professor and Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences BUITEMS, Quetta, Pakistan. He received his Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from University of Malaya in Malaysia. He has taught courses in Entrepreneurship, Statistics, and Research Methods at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and he has also received entrepreneurial training from Babson Academy, Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts, USA. Ahmed is an expert in teaching entrepreneurial mindset, entrepreneurial competencies and entrepreneurial skills.
Ahmed’s research is focused on entrepreneurial pedagogies, entrepreneurship education, service innovation and hospitality management and informal entrepreneurship and sustainability. He has extensive research experience using a wide range of statistical packages including, but not limited to, SPSS, SEM AMOS and SEM Smart PLS.
His articles have been published in top-ranked and reputable journals, such as Journal of Tourism Economics, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, International Journal of Management Education, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research.
