Carolina Pérez
Research Assistant
Carolina Pérez is a Research Assistant at the Catholic University of Uruguay, a member of the Labor Relations Observatory at the same institution and part of the Fairwork Uruguay team.
She has a degree in Sociology from the University of the Republic of Uruguay and is a master’s candidate in Public Policy at the Catholic University of Uruguay.
Carolina is a member of the Extension team of the University of the Republic of Uruguay, entitled “El piso de las olvidadas”, where she carries out workshops and activities with women deprived of liberty.
Her publications include:
- Monthly and annual reports on labor conflict, from February 2023 to date, at the Catholic University of Uruguay.
- Article “¿Chocando las rejas? Vivencias y reflexiones de Paula, mujer madre privada de libertad” that will be published in the book “Género, violencias y castigos en el Sur Global”, in CLACSO in mid-2024.
