Abigail Osiki

Abigail Osiki was a postdoctoral Research Fellow with Fairwork South Africa.

She interrogated how South Africa’s labour regulations and policies apply to workers in the platform economy. In addition, she considered whether there is a scope for interpreting these existing laws for the achievement of decent work for platform workers. Abigail worked under the direct supervision of Emeritus Professor Darcy du Toit and Professor Sandra Fredman.
