Dana Elbashbishy

Dana Elbashbishy is a researcher at the Access to knowledge for Development Center (A2K4D) in the School of Business at the American University in Cairo (AUC). She is a member of The Open African Innovation Research Partnership’s (Open AIR) New and Emerging Researchers Group (NERG) through which she engages in A2K4D’s research on alternative knowledge and innovation metrics in Africa. She is also a Teaching Assistant at the American University in Cairo (AUC) for the Digital Economy and the CopyrightX Course which is offered by Harvard Law School.
Elbashbishy is also engaged in research on different other topics such as the sharing economy, artificial Intelligence, new work, and development in the MENA region. Elbashbishy holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in economics and psychology from the American University in Cairo.
