Daniel Vizuete
Co-Investigator
Daniel Vizuete is a co-investigator of the Ecuador team. His work includes actor mapping, interviewing gig workers and platform executives, and processing and disseminating results.
Daniel is a social researcher who specialises in Science, Technology and Society. He holds a political sociology master’s degree from FLACSO-Ecuador. His background is in higher education and development, public policies of science, technology and innovation, scientific controversies, open access, open science, digital economy and urban development policies.
Daniel has experience as consultant for NGOs in international cooperation in Ecuador. His interests are territorial and sectorial development strategies, digital transformation, higher education governance, open science and digital local-based economy.
