Jayvy R. Gamboa is a Legal Consultant for Fairwork Philippines.
Jayvy is a policy and legal research associate at Manila Observatory. He has also had teaching engagements from basic education to graduate school and currently serves as a lecturer at the Department of Economics, Ateneo de Manila University, where he designed and teaches the interdisciplinary elective course Economics of Labor and Employment Law.
Gamboa obtained his bachelor’s degree in economics (Honors Program) from the Ateneo de Manila University and his law degree from the University of the Philippines, where he previously served as editor of the Philippine Law Journal volume 92. Jayvy is pursuing research on just transition, with a focus on labour and employment law and regulation.
