Marcos Aragão de Oliveira

Marcos Aragão de Oliveira is a research assistant in the Fairwork project in Brazil. In this role, he gathers evidence about working conditions on platforms through desk research, primary data and legal analysis of terms of service and legislation.
He holds a PhD in law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio – Brazil/2024). He is a member of the following research groups: “Trab21 – Trabalho no Século XXI” (“Work in the 21st Century”) – UFRJ, “Legalité Droit” – PUC-Rio and “GDD” (“Gender, Democracy and Law”) – PUC-Rio.
His interests include working relations and digital labor, particularly regarding the intersections between discrimination and colonialism.
