Mira Wallis is a research fellow and PhD candidate at the Institute for European Ethnology and the Berlin Institute for Integration and Migration Research (BIM) at Humboldt University Berlin. From 2018 to 2022, she worked in the research project “Digitalisation of Labour and Migration”, studying how digital platforms transform practices, forms and conceptions of labour migration. Her PhD project focuses on home-based platform labour in Germany and Romania, with a focus on social reproduction, gender and mobility.
Mira works as a partner with the Fairwork team in Berlin.
