Robbie Warin is a Research Assistant at Fairwork.
His research interests center around the nature of platform work and how technological systems intersect with and shape workers’ individual and collective sense of precarity, community and solidarity. Robbie is interested in how we can use alternative media to engage people within debates surrounding changes to contemporary labour markets and to involve workers in the co-creation of knowledge. He is the founder and editor of The Invisible Worker, a zine exploring precarious work and technology and holds a Bsc in Geography from the University of Sussex.
For Fairwork, Robbie is involved in several different projects, aiming to create new ways of platforming the voices of workers within the gig economy.
