Tony Mathew is a Research Assistant with Fairwork India. Tony leads the fieldwork in Chennai by conducting interviews with workers. He is also involved in desk research, evidence analysis, development of platform scores and the dissemination of results.
He has strong interest in matters related to labour laws, legal theory, law and political economy, and public policy. He likes learning new things, taking on new opportunities and using it to understand and bring a positive change in society.
Tony graduated from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad in 2023 with a master’s degree in Law, specialising in Public Law and Legal Theory, after completing his bachelor’s degree in Law from Saveetha School of Law, Chennai.
