Wasel Bin Shadat, has provided consultancy and expert support to a number of projects commissioned by the Government of Bangladesh and/or various donor agencies such as WB, ILO, Commonwealth Foundation, UN, Copenhagen Consensus Center, Internews, etc.
His research interest in (Theoretical and Applied) Econometrics, Macro-micro integrated modeling, development and applied economics, time series and financial econometrics, experimental economics, statistical inference, data mining, simulation, labor market, digital literacy.
Wasel holds a Ph.D. degree in econometrics from The University of Manchester, UK. He supervised undergraduate and MSc dissertations and performed academic advisor roles to UG students.
