Fairwork Annual Report 2021

2021 has been a year of continued turbulence caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, a year in which many countries are still trying to get to grips with the new world currently being constructed. For Fairwork, it has been a year of continued growth as we seek to rate working conditions across the world. In 2021, we released a total of 10 country reports and ratings, alongside our first ever Cloudwork report. We have grown in all directions, with Fairwork teams now located in a total of 26 countries, across 5 continents.

This annual report presents an overview of Fairwork’s impact over the past year. In it, we summarise our rating process, the reports we have released in 2021, and examples of our outreach and partnership work that has expanded our reach and exemplified our commitment to promoting fair working conditions for gig workers around the world.
