The platform provides evidence that workers’ gross pay is at or above the minimum wage. The platform supports the  payment fortnightly, on time and transport allowance is provided.

2.1

Hogaru has a comprehensive policy that mitigates risks specific to domestic work. This policy has three pillars: worker’s safety, health and physical and emotional integrity. The platform gives access to insurance and training.

The platform ensures that workers are affiliated to social security, have maternity and sick leave, and are covered for accidents at work.

3.1

There is an employment contract in accordance with Colombian law. The contract is explained and a copy is given to the worker.

The platform provides easy access channels of communication with workers to solve problems. The role of the “godmothers” and the call center is highlighted.

5.1

The app supports and guarantees spaces for association, through the existence of the COPASST and the Coexistence Committee. Its willingness to recognise a body of unionized workers is recognised.
